Pour the coffee in. The mug, until a moment ago a quiet black cylinder, blooms with colour — your logo, a launch date, a punchline, surfacing through the thermochromic coating as the ceramic warms. Three sips later, when the mug has cooled on someone's desk, the artwork retreats back into the dark. It is the small daily theatre of a workday, and it is impossible to ignore.
The vessel itself is honest stoneware, 330ml, round-shouldered with a generous handle and weight enough to feel considered in the hand. Branding sits beneath a heat-activated black layer in full-colour sublimation across a 225 x 92mm wrap, so the reveal is photographic in detail rather than flat. A pad-printed overprint can ride on top of the black coating — a teaser, a closed envelope of a logo — though it won't register precisely with the artwork hidden underneath. Each mug arrives presented in its own black gift box, ready to hand over.
