There is a particular sound to an Australian summer — the slap of rubber against heel on a hot footpath, the shuffle across a verandah, the soft thud as they're kicked off at the door. These are the soundtrack of a season, and now they carry your logo into every one of those moments.
The sole is 15mm of EVA foam, cushioned enough to soften the walk from car to sand without losing its shape by February. Straps are colour-matched PVC, finished in the bright spectrum of an Esky lid: yellow, orange, red, bright green, light blue, royal, navy, black. A 60mm pad print across the footbed places the brand where it's seen every time they're slipped on, then again as they're left by the pool. Four sizes from 250mm through 305mm cover most feet at the resort, the festival, the staff barbecue.
What happens next is the quiet work of good merchandise. They travel home in a tote, get worn through January, photographed on a balcony in Bali, lent to a houseguest, replaced eventually but never quite thrown out.
